We started our day in LA sampling muffins at the Los Angeles Central Library café.
This is junk outside the Museum of Contemporary Art.
This isn't. It's the Walt Disney Concert Hall designed by Frank Gehry who also designed the EMP Theater in Seattle.
LA's Grand Park.
Nuestra Senora Reina de Los Angeles mission church built in 1822. The mission was started by Padre Junipero Serra in 1781 and is the birthplace of the City of Los Angeles. It still serves an active parish.
A tree in a plaza across the street from the mission church.
Tile wall murals at that same Metro stop.
On Hollywood Boulevard...
An exterior mural at Grauman's Egyptian Theater where the first Hollywood movie premier was held in 1922.
A tile wall mural at the Pig n Whistle restaurant next to the Egyptian Theater. It started business in 1922 as a family restaurant and soda fountain for movie goers.
Street entertainers.
Grauman's Chinese Theatre.
Tough-guy John Wayne left his fist print instead of his hand print at Grauman's--pilgrim.
On the Rapid Bus at the end of the day.
