The last time we saw Jim's cousin, Lawrence Damon, he was in a losing battle with cancer. He told us of the plans he and his wife, Sue, had for retirement that would never take place. He said if there is anything you really want to do, do it now while you can. His advice stayed with us, and without it we would still be sitting at home saying, "Well, someday...."

Seattle, Washington, 9-26
After spending the morning doing laundry, cleaning out the car, etc., we left the Olympic peninsula this afternoon and travelled to Bainbridge Island where we caught a ferry that took us across Puget Sound to Seattle.
