We passed Crescent Lake as we traveled to the west side of the park.
Hoh Rain Forest--This is one of the few temperate rain forests in the world, receiving over 200 inches of rain per year. The tranquility of this primeval forest is a stark contrast to the thundering geysers, acid pools and stench of sulfur of Yellowstone National Park, where nature is at her most elemental.
We ended our day among the crashing waves of the Pacific Ocean and the sea stacks at Rialto Beach.
